From the gate to the truck

How a load moves

Weigh it in the open. Sort the two metals apart. Melt each one on its own. Cast the ingot and load it.

  1. Bundled scrap sitting on a yard weighbridge in morning light

    01

    The load arrives

Scrap comes to the yard at Faridnagar. It is weighed, and the metal is named, before anyone settles a rate.

  2. Workers sorting aluminium sheet and copper pipe on a long steel table

    02

    It is sorted

Aluminium stays with aluminium. Copper stays with copper. What does not belong is taken out before the furnace, not after.

  3. Aluminium melting furnace pouring into ingot moulds on a chain conveyor

    03

    It is melted

Aluminium is melted on its own and runs from the furnace onto a casting conveyor. Copper takes a separate heat. The melt is there to make a clean ingot, not to hide a bad sort.

  4. Pallets of aluminium and copper ingots waiting to be loaded at dusk

    04

    It is cast and loaded

The pour becomes ingot. The ingot is stacked, and it leaves for a foundry, a die caster, a fabricator, or a trader.

The yard

The next load can be yours.

Selling scrap or buying ingot, start with the metal and the quantity. We will tell you if the yard can take it.
